      How To Book

• There is sleeping for up to 3 people based on 1 double bed in main bedroom, 1 single bed (full length x 2' 6" wide) which is in the 2nd bedroom.
   

• Prices are for the cottage (up to 3 persons) and supersedes all previous price lists
   

• Prices are for full weeks arriving Saturday and leaving on a Saturday
   

• BUT we are very flexible and we will be pleased to discuss your requirements especially during low season periods - contact us anytime between 8.00am and 10.00pm.

How to Check Dates and then Book your Holiday

1. Check for availability of your dates or to find out more, phone Pam Livesley on 0115 9225582 / 07880 514455 or complete our on-line enquiry form or reservation form.

2. Once we have confirmed your requirements and that the dates are definitely available complete the booking form (print it out or we can send a copy through the post on request - booking form alt.version).

3. Important:- Please read our Terms & Conditions.

4. Your dates will be held provisionally (usually 7 days) until we receive the completed booking form and deposit of £50 per week (or part week).

5. Please make cheques payable to Pam Livesley and post to:-
   Pam Livesley, 136 Hillside Road, Bramcote, Nottingham, NG9 3BD.

6. We will then confirm the booking to you in writing.

7. The final balance should be settled one month prior to rental period.

8. Please ensure you have adequate holiday cancellation insurance

Please note:-

• You may arrive anytime after 4.00pm on the day of arrival and vacating by 10.00am on the day of departure.

• Bedding is provided but guests must supply their own towels - on specific request towels can be provided at a cost of £5 per person per week.

• We have a private car park next to the cottage for off-road parking - the cottage is located on a quiet "access only" road (directions).

• The following restrictions apply:-

• Even though we love animals - no pets

• Strictly NO SMOKING in the cottage

• Unfortunately due to its age the property is not suitable for people with certain disabilities - please read our access statement and contact us if would like to discuss your requirements.

If the dates you require are available then you can reserve the dates which will be held until your deposit is received - we will contact you to sort out details and payment.

Short Notice Bookings

For short notice bookings where there is not a lot of time to post cheques etc we can take payment via credit or debit cards over the phone - credit cards incur a 3% surcharge - but we cannot release or send the keys to you until we receive either the online booking form or the printable booking form by post.

Smithys Cottage has been a holiday cottage located in Buxton since 2002 - there are many comments in the visitors book commending the cleanliness, the location and how well the cottage is equipped. We have recently acquired land next to the cottage as dedicated private parking together with outside table and seating.
