Located on a quiet access only street near the centre of Buxton close to all amenities ............... good public transport links (trains and buses) from Manchester, Derby, Sheffield and Nottingham.

Approaching from the North via A6

Follow A6 through Buxton until you get to the “Morrisons” roundabout.

Turn Right & follow road ½ mile to Traffic lights.

Go Straight on (signposted Macclesfield)

100yds turn “acute” right on to Church Street.

If you go past the Bakers Arms – turn round.

Smithy’s Cottage is about 50 yds up Church Street on your left.

Approaching from the South via A6

At the “Morrisons” roundabout on the outskirts of Buxton turn Left

Follow road ½ mile to Traffic lights.

Go Straight on (signposted Macclesfield)

100yds turn “acute” right on to Church Street.

If you go past the Bakers Arms – turn round.

Smithy’s Cottage is about 50 yds up Church Street on your left.

Approaching from the South A515

At the 1^st set of traffic lights turn 2^nd left.

100yds turn “acute” right on to Church Street.

If you go past the Bakers Arms – turn round.

Smithy’s Cottage is about 50 yds up Church Street on your left.

Approaching from the West (A53/A5004)

Enter Buxton and follow signs to A6 Manchester

You will join the A6 at a roundabout adjacent to a large railway bridge (cannot be missed)

Head South on the A6 towards Matlock / Derby

At next roundabout (Morrisons turn Right

Follow road ½ mile to Traffic lights.

Go Straight on (signposted Macclesfield)

100yds turn “acute” right on to Church Street.

If you go past the Bakers Arms – turn round.

Smithy’s Cottage is about 50 yds up Church Street on your left.

Car Parking

Church Street is an Access Only Street with normally only light traffic.

Entrance to the parking area is on your left as you enter Church Street - the keys to enter the car park are inside the cottage.

IMPORTANT: The entrance must be kept locked at all times to prevent access by other vehicles looking for parking.

Smithy’s Cottage is located at the top end of the parking area - about 50 yds up Church Street on your left.
